On November 1, 1996, the first shrine - the icon of the Mother of God "Recovery of the Dead" - was brought here from St. Nicholas Cathedral in Alchevsk. Later, the first temple of the complex was consecrated in honor of this icon.
The first typical church building in Severodonetsk, a chapel in honor of the transfer of the relics of St. Nicholas, the Miracle Worker of Myra-Lycia, was also built here, on the territory of the temple complex. It was decorated with an ancient icon of St. Nicholas, donated to the chapel.
There are other shrines on the territory of the temple complex: a fragment of the Tree of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, donated by the monks of the Greek monastery Samgata, a stone from Golgotha - the place of execution of Jesus Christ, stones from the Garden of Gethsemane, Mount Tabor, Magdalene, Mount Elijah, Jordan, Jordan, Jordan , The Mount of Olives, Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes, from the walls of the Old City (Jerusalem), part of the stone on which the Reverend Seraphim of Sarov prayed for a thousand days and nights.
An ancient bell, cast in 1912 in Rostov-on-Don, is installed in the churchyard. A family welfare gazebo was built especially for the newlyweds, on top of which there is a stork's nest.
The church has a library and Sunday school, children's health camp.
