The ethnographic complex is the only one of its kind in the Luhansk region, where unique exhibits are preserved and presented, which reveal not only the local features of the culture of the Novopskov district, but also popularize the folk traditions of Slobozhanshchina.

The house was built for the family of the priest of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker by the regimental church of the Pskov cuirassier regiment. The house and the yard have been preserved almost as they were in the village estates of Slobozhanshchyna at the end of the XIX century.
The exposition of the village estate is dedicated to the traditional housing of Slobozhans, their household items, tools, crafts, decorative and applied arts.
There is an open-air exposition on this land plot, where agricultural tools of the people of Slobozia are presented.

Since 1993, "Slobozhanske courtyard kin. XIX century. - beg. XX century » is a permanent exhibition of KZ "Novopskovsky Museum of Local Lore".
