The slope of the hill with blooming funnels is a strange sight: the flowers turn red like drops of blood on the green grass. This resemblance has become a theme for many legends and tales.
Those who visited the Novopskov region in the spring or summer, can not help but admire the large number and variety of steppe vegetation. Colonies of steppe tulip, thyme, oregano, chamomile, forget-me-not, feather grass, fescue, kermeku create a unique aroma. On Cretaceous deposits you can find such plants as dogwood, morning glory, wormwood, chalk flax. The Aydar Valley and its tributaries are covered with meadow vegetation. Forests are found on the slopes of ravines and gullies.
The fauna is represented by wild boars, roe deer, foxes, martens and hares. In the steppe there are many baboons, ferrets, in small populations there are moose. The bird world consists of gray partridges, bustards, quails, larks, starlings, black-headed oatmeal. Woodpeckers, woodpeckers, nightingales and tits nest in the forest thickets. From reptiles there are lizards, snakes, steppe vipers.
