Igor Rishko, a former builder and trucker from the city of Luhansk, was forced to move to the village of Verkhnobogdanivka in the Stanychno-Luhansk district due to the military conflict. He started first with making cottage cheese and sour cream. Later, in 2016, Igor mastered the profession of cheesemaker from scratch. Igor currently makes suluguni, mozzarella, brynza and Adygea cheeses. Thanks to a grant from the NRC, Igor purchased 700-liter cheese-making boilers, which significantly improved the cheese-making process. Today Igor already has 3 boilers for cheese making, molding and a device for vacuum packaging. Igor currently produces one and a half tons of cheese a month. The main customers of the manufacturer's products are from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Berdyansk, Odessa and Lviv. Igor not only does business himself, but also provides fellow villagers and residents of neighboring villages with a market for milk.
