Museum in the village of Smolyaninove, Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin, peasant house

The museum itself was founded in 1990 on the territory of the former manor. The founders of the museum are Volodymyr Vasyliovych Zhuk and Maria Fedorivna Savelyeva. The museum's expositions are located in four halls, with a total area of ​​76 square meters. meters. They include an archeological hall, an ethnographic hall, a hall dedicated to the events of the Second World War, and a hall dedicated to Nikita Chernyavsky, Petro Shevchenko and other prominent people of the village.
Of course, each of the halls deserves attention, because it is simply full of various exhibits. For example, the archeology hall has 572 exhibits from the times of carcass culture. All this is a gift from the museum from the candidate of historical sciences Konstantin Ivanovich Krasilnikov, who in 1990 conducted excavations in the village. These exhibits belong to the Bronze Age. About 10 burials have been excavated. One of them is presented for review. There was a skeleton in the log house under the failed logs. Archaeologists believe that the buried adult, short man, in a hunched position and strongly bent legs.
The most valuable find is a bronze leaf-shaped knife. Technique of making a casting knife with traces of forging and sharpening.
The ethnographic hall is famous for its collection of clothes and tools. There are a total of 124 exhibits. The exposition of the history of the village has 373 exhibits.
The hall is dedicated to Nikita Antonovich Chernyavsky, consists of 41 exhibits. Chernyavsky NA was born in the village. Smolyaninovo, September 15, 1920. His hard work, as in every independent peasant family, and his childhood and early youth coincided with the time when the whole nation was drawn to education. An inquisitive, greedy for books, a fifteen-year-old Komsomol member, after finishing seven years, left his village in Starobilsk in 1936 for medical school. So the future poet became a student of medical school. Due to his health condition, Nikita Antonovich did not get to the front, but he forged a victory in the enemy's rear, helping people like a medic. In 1948 the first collection "Grains of Happiness" was published. Poetic collections are published - "Rye adorns", "Wind from the field".
And I must say that at the entrance to the village you will see the beautiful Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin. This is a new Temple built instead of the one destroyed in the 1930s.
Another unique historical monument deserves a separate story - a peasant house. The Ukrainian house is a symbol of Ukraine. In this building the living conditions of ordinary peasants of Slobozhanshchyna of the 19th - 20th centuries are completely reproduced. Everything as it was then. The building consists of halls, a house and a large clean house. The main interior of the house was a stove in front of the door. The furnace is treated with special respect - as a nurse and caretaker. The hearth was a symbol of the inviolability of the family and a shrine. The drawings that decorated the house were of great symbolic significance and were supposed to protect against misfortune and evil spirits. In every Ukrainian house there was always a red corner (penance), where there were icons decorated with embroidered towels, wreaths of flowers. Here, in the house, there are benches decorated with carpets, a cradle for a baby, closer to the door - shelves for dishes and bread. There is a chest in the house - a mandatory attribute of any good housewife and bench. By the way, before, when the owners just moved into the house, there was a kind of tradition: the house must have a stove, table and food on the table. If so, there will be prosperity in the family.
