On September 28, 2018, a plaque depicting Fedor's father, a character from Ilf and Petrov's novel "12 Chairs", was installed at the Popasna railway station in the Luhansk region.

KETTLE of boiling water. In the 22nd chapter of the novel "12 chairs" it is said that Fedor's father escaped from the platform of Popasna station with a kettle of boiling water. This nuance was mentioned by the organizers of the festival "From the country to Ukraine", and on the eve of its opening (October 7, 2018) decided to install a memorial plaque entitled "Literary-historical monument" Historical Boiler ".
EXCERPT FROM THE NOVEL. The idea for the installation of a memorial plaque was this small excerpt from the novel "12 chairs".
"Excuse me, but where is Father Fedor?" Where is the clipped priest of the church of Frol and Lavra? He seemed to be going to Vinogradnaya Street, to house дом34, to citizen Bruns?
